Rare Bear Studio started in the summer of 2020 and has gradually grown into a blossoming independent small business based in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds.
I have always been passionate about art and have been involved in some way for as long as I can remember. I graduated in 2011 with a photography degree and shortly after I made the decision to not go into the field professionally and concentrated on building a career in housing and maintenance administration until lockdown of 2020.

The very first functional animal I made was a bear jug and I loved the creative process so much that I haven't stopped since. I am always learning new ways of working with clay so please be sure to check back in and see how Rare Bear Studio is progressing!
